After the discussion held on 29-01-2014 with the participation of Health Minister and Acting Presidential Secretary, GMOA agreed to get Cabinet approval for the Medical Service Minute, bypassing the Public Service Commission.
Acting Presidential Secretary observed that the delay in implementing the service minute was due to inefficiency of the PSC.
Health Minister will submit the service minute to the Cabinet on 30-01-2014. GMOA agreed to wait another two weeks for the Cabinet approval process.
