At the urgent GMOA Executive Committee meeting held today a decision was made to go for a full day all island token strike on 17th August 2012 (tomorrow) to protest against the hand grenade attack on the residence of Dr. Lalantha Ranasinghe a consultant surgeon and SLMC council member.
The incident is suspected to be related to the private medical college issue.
